Title: Possible to access MTP data, Sansa c250v2, Linux?
Post by: zphere on December 12, 2007, 12:31:50 AM
Hi,

I've successfully mounted my Sansa c250v2 in Linux.
The device is pretty much full of songs placed on it using MTP.
I mounted it using mount -t vfat /dev/sda /mnt/sda
(yes it was sda, not sda1)
When mounted, df -h shows that it has a capacity of 2.0G and 2.0G used.
When I cd into the mount point, and run du -ch, it shows 5.1M used.

What does df know that du does not?

My apologies if this is not exactly Rockbox related.
I am not sure of where to find a better knowledge base of Linux/hardware hackers for the Sansa.
I hope that this will be of sufficient relevance to Rockbox users to prevent deletion.

Thanks,
-Chris

This is not yet a Rockbox target (see the New Ports forum).  So this is off-topic for these forums.  Thanks grossaffe, for offering an alternative venue.
