Title: Ipod 3rd generation - no usb detection

Hello,
excuse my poor english
I'm french  :)

So my ipod is ok, I already arrived to install a rockbox version
It works

So the problem is about the detection with USB on XP SP3

No device recognized !

I reset the ipod and after It seems works

I used the rockbox utilility and I updated ipod with 3.9.1 version

So happy I disconnect the ipod

I started, erverything seems ok, I can use it normaly.

I shut down, connect again to pc and ......

Again, the problem !!!!

No detection

Do you know why ?

Rockbox on the Ipod 3G doesn't have USB support. You need to reboot into the Apple firmware for USB connection. See the manual on how to do that.

I know to reset and use with I Tune
But, I'd rather use rockbox

Put the Ipod into disk mode. No need for itunes, just the Apple firmware for USB
