Um would this be possible for a Sansa e260 v1?
I read that this is possible for the ipod so I wanted to know if it would work for a sansa...
I tried it out..... i just got
"KEY LOCKED
System Shutdown"
:( so yeah can anyone tell me if is possible...
See I do like the Rockbox a lot with its cool features and everything
But.... now none of my videos or pictures show up...
There still in my mp3, it just doesn't show up in Rockbox :(
I really don't want to have to change them to another format...
Unless someone would be nice enough to tell me a really easy way to do it :3
Anyways yeah, please help!
Thanks for reading!

For simple questions, the manual is a very good idea.

Oops >.< I'm so sorry!
I tried searching around the pdf for "Starting the original firmware"
but it didn't find any results
But I see it now...
Weird...
But the search still doesn't find anything..

Anyways thank you so much >////<
Should I close this topic now or something?

The reason it doesn't find that in a search is because there's something strange about the first two letters in the word "firmware" in that part of the PDF. If you search for "Starting the original" then it will find that paragraph, but if you search for "Starting the original firmware" then it will not. When I cut/paste that line from the PDF, it looks like this:
3.1.3. Starting the original rmware
Where's the "fi" in the word "firmware"? When I paste it into notepad, it looks like this:

Strange.

. . .

It's probably because TeX replaces the letter combination "fi" (two letters) with a special glyph "fi" (so called ligature, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typographic_ligature). I don't know whether Adobe Acrobat takes this into account when performing text search. It seems it does not.

No, it does not. However, this also depends on how the PDF file was generated. Recently (to be exact: on June 5th) the manuals were switched to use the T1 font encoding which also changes the behaviour here. I've just tried it to confirm and Adobe Reader can find that string just fine in a current manual. However, the manuals of the 3.6 release don't have this change so the ligature problem with Adobe Reader shows up. The same is true for the HTML manuals, but as links to the HTML manual are always current version this issue doesn't show up there (anymore).
Unfortunately we don't know which version of the manual was searched but it's impossible that this is a current one. Also, when trying to figure things don't use notepad. It's a really bad idea for about everything.

Hmm, that version still shows the ligature problem. So this seems to be something related to the LaTeX installation used for building the manuals :(
