I was going through my sansa e250r and I went to the file cleanup section of the rockbox firmware and when i clicked on it, it said it was cleaning the files or something like that. I tried to exit it out but it wouldn't, so I just let the battery run out. Now whenever I try turning on my sansa just the blue ring lights up. HELP!

Also, this symptom happened to me, and this (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=18820.msg135867#msg135867) fixed it.

So how do I do it? Do I turn it on first and click on the black thing above the battery or something else? Thank you for your help so far!

I would try the software fix before assuming your hardware is broken.
-
Do you need Ubuntu for the software fix?

Take a look at the wiki page I linked, its all there. And don't even think about starting until you've read all of it.

I don't think I got the wiki page link. If you wouldn't mind could you send it to me? Thank you very much for your time

Sorry, I meant the one linked above, not the one I linked:

If the ring is lit with nothing on the screen, you might try just holding down the Power button until the ring goes out and then restarting the unit. This might take one minute or so.
