Title: Olimpus mr100 (mrobe)
Post by: ZVK on July 14, 2017, 07:07:00 AM
Good day, it happened such a situation dropped Olimpus mr100 (m: robe 100) and for this flew the hard disk.
I replaced it with a new one, filled in the original firmware, the device just started to glow and requires a connection to the PC, after connection it's just charging.
I spat and decided to fill Rockbox there, like everything started fine, it works, but when playing there is no sound. This situation is also on the second olipus, everything works but there is no sound.
What can be and methods of solution?

Which version did you use? I'm almost sure your player is fine, but you probably used version 3.13 or slightly older. I fixed the sound on m:robe 100, some time after 3.13 in e7499ba. So use the current version or 3.14 and you should have a sound, unless something broke again.

Thanks, I'll try today to put a new version and which you said. Should the headphones be connected during installation?

It doesn't matter at all, just unzip the current version (https://build.rockbox.org/data/rockbox-mrobe100.zip) to the main directory of the player, you should overwrite files when asked (.rockbox directory), safely disconnect the player, reboot and that's all.

Please leave some word, how it went.
