Title: Any nwz e380 themes, if not help for port?
Post by: iliketraisn69 on September 17, 2016, 02:10:55 PM
I just recently installed rockbox on my sony nwz e-380, but i do not like the basic theme and was wondering if there were other themes for this device or if themes can be ported to its resolution

( i particullry like the Free-State SBS Mod wps and the BOXAMP wps because they remind me of old music players).

I would be very thankful if someone can help me because my dyslexia and poor programming skills just make the reading of the wps guide unbearable.

Thank you in advance <3.

The resolution is the same as the Fuze+ I believe, so most likely you can use those themes directly:

I've tried some of these themes and even though they changed the main menu, the wps is stuck on the default one  :( .

According to this page

http://www.sony.com/electronics/walkman/nwz-e380-series/specifications

The resolution of that player is 128x160.  So those themes presumably won't work, being the wrong size?

If that page is correct, this theme might work, though its the only theme of that resolution I could find

http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?themeid=2054

(its for the phillips GoGear SA9200, which only has one theme)

I mean... I may be a noobie, but would it be difficult to port a theme? I'm a particular fan of the "Googly" themes. And would like to make my player look nice in software.
