Title: Can't select mount point in rockbox utility
Post by: Sviazen on May 13, 2014, 04:48:02 AM
Hello,

I have downloaded and executed the rockbox utility but there is no drive letter showing in the select field.
If i hit the autodetect button it crashes. See the screenshot : http://effseth.net/rockbox.jpg

I tried to run the program with administrator privilege but it failed too.

I run my laptop on a windows 7 in FR-BE

Thank you.

Does the player have a drive letter assigned in Windows Explorer? My guess is that you need to change it from MTP to UMS mode.

That was it, i tough since there were no drive letter displayed at all that the utlity failed to recognize any mount point, but apparently it filter the system disk out.

Thank you.

It filters out all incompatible drives :-) Autodetect should tell you about the MTP issue, but obviously there is a bug preventing this from working as intended ...
