Hi,

I looked all over the forum and did searches ... maybe I'm lame at forum searching but I couldn't find anything on this. Sorry in advance if it has already been posted! ::)

Anyway, I have a Japanese Gigabeat *U*,  and under system information it says version 1.00jp. Will my hopes and dreams of running rockbox go unanswered!? I see you have support for F and X, but I bought this mp3 player when I was still a windows user. (I recently changed to linux) Is it impossible to run rockbox on the U series?

The Gigabeat U series are an entirely different hardware platform and will not work with Rockbox.

Haha, OK. I think I asked a very noobtastic question.

Next time I buy an mp3 player, maybe I'll get something that can run rockbox!
