It is with great pleasure that I can announce that http://themes.rockbox.org/ has finally been (re)launched. This means that you can once again find themes in one easy to navigate place. The newly released Rockbox Utility 1.2 will also install themes from themes.rockbox.org.
Unfortunately, the site is pretty much empty at this point, so we need theme authors to upload their creations. If you've created a theme, please waste no time in hurrying over there to upload it.
Take care about licensing though - all themes on the site must be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) license. If you have used the works of another artist, his work needs to be under a compatible license.
At the same time, I'm happy to announce that the themes Cabbiev2, iAmp, Engineer2, Boxes, DancePuffDuo, iCatcher, UniCatcher, ipodVOL, Rockboxed and progressive that are currently bundled with Rockbox have been relicensed to CC-BY-SA 3.0, so derivatives of these themes can be uploaded to the theme site. A big thank you to all the contributors who have given their OK to this.
Edit: Added Rockboxed to the list of relicensed themes.

Could you let people select multiple targets on the Upload page? Obviously some themes work cross-target.

This should work out automagically as long as the targets have the same LCD size, your theme will be shown for all appropriate targets (the target you select is in fact not stored in the DB - just the corresponding screen size).

The iPod 1G/2G is missing from the list of players. I know they use identical themes to other players (e.g. 3G) but it might avoid support questions if they were listed too.

Correct. If they don't, that's something to be looked into.
