Hi.
Few years ago, I asked same question. My Sansa c240 v2 does not work with OF and microSD card when RB is installed.
I mean, is that the original software will not turn on if the SD card is inserted. Stuck on the "Sandisk" logo.
If I take out the card, original firmware starts without a problem.
Six years have passed, hundreds of updates, and the problem is still not resolved :-(
Any ideas?

You will have to talk to Sandisk. Their firmware is closed source and we can't modify it.
-
But... when i uninstall modified bootloader and RB, then original firmware works like a charm with SD card...
;-(
-
That's probably just a coincidence. Having the bootloader installed has no effect on the Sandisk firmware.
-
I don't think so...
Reinstalled bootloader and RB many times (more than 30, i think). Tested stable, dev version, dozen SD cards, no matter. OF does not boot with SD card inserted when RB (bootloader) is installed.
-
I don't see how that is possible given how the bootloader works, but very few people have c200v2 players so it's at least conceivable that there is a problem no one noticed.

Is OF have same version before and after RB installed?

Yes. 03.02.05A.

Hi,
after a discussion with Mihail, it seems plausible that the dualboot code (in rbutil/mkasmboot/dualboot/dualboot.S) changes the hardware configuration which makes the OF fails. More investigation is needed but at least that's a very small piece of code so it should be possible to find the problem.

G#1293 don't work. I try to search for another way.
