Title: "Not Recognized"
Post by: Lostification on July 15, 2007, 05:33:22 PM
So, I download the current build rockbox thing or whatever for my sansa E260. I extracted the files. Then I use the Sansa Patcher Tool, I install it, all OK... Then the manual says to disconnect the player. I did that the first time and the player said stuff like "error, can't find files and such" Then I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it. But this time, I read the player's screen before I unplugged it and it says "Writing" where it usually says "Connected". You know... that connected screen that always pulls up when it's connected to the computer. So as I said, it says "Writing" and I have decided to not disconnect it and see it's still loading or something. I've thoroughly examined the manual, so can anyone help me out here? It's been like 10 minutes of "Writing" already.... ??? :'(

whoops, I forgot to extract the files to the player itself.  ::)  ;D

But now I have a new problem. My computer doesn't recognize the "Device" and I can't download the font's package... thing...

Rockbox defaults to showing only supported files (you can change that in you settings). Rockbox does not support bmp for photo and MJEGB codec in a QT container for videos. Rockbox uses jpeg for images and mpeg1+mpeg2 for videos.
