Title: Duke Nukem 3D
Post by: __builtin on September 13, 2017, 09:01:48 PM
I did it again. I now have Duke Nukem 3D up and running on ipod6g. This is a port of Fabien Sanglard's "Chocolate Duke3D", itself based on the original source releases by 3D Realms and Ken Silverman, not some doom WAD or anything like that.

The code is available here: http://gerrit.rockbox.org/r/#/c/1664/ (http://gerrit.rockbox.org/r/#/c/1664/), but keep in mind it's a huge hack and is unlikely to work without some effort (unless you happen to own an ipod6g).

Certainly possible given enough time, but I won't be doing it. You'll have to implement greylib support in the rockbox video driver in my SDL patch.
