Title: Need SSH on Ubuntu 11.10
Post by: Timbergetter on December 30, 2014, 08:47:12 AM
I have just downloaded the Ubuntu VM package for Rockbox development.
I now have the Ubuntu 11.1 VM up and running.
I wanted to add ssh-server and find that 11.1 is no longer supported so the package is not available through usual apt-get process.
I would be grateful if someone could advise how to best get a ssh server installed on the Ubuntu 11.1 OS.

I would advise upgrading ubuntu, as in one of my other posts.  It takes a while, but should solve this & many other problems.

Upgrading will preserve the Rockbox development environment, so you won't have to recreate that.
