Title: Who wants to help rockbox the DMC Xclef HD500?
Post by: cbr12 on January 16, 2007, 01:55:00 PM
Would it be possible to rockbox the DMC Xclef HD500? This model has a 100 GB hard drive and would be so much better if it had the added features from rockbox. Is there anyone who wants to work on this? I have a model or two that could be donated to get this up and running.

Has anyone already attempted to rockbox this model? How long does it take to make a build that will function? I need the enhanced recording options and a firmware that will not freeze up so often like the current firmware does. If someone one is willing to do it for a price let me know how much it might cost. These units will be used in a scientific recording project and I might be able to pull some money out of the budget to get them working properly.
