Title: Default sound settings

How do I reset just sound settings to default? I`m running Rockbox on Ipod 5.5.

You can delete the config.cfg file from the .rockbox folder, or remove any lines from it that you want set back to default.

I realize this doesn't help you now as you probably already took the needlessly aggressive route of nuking your config or hand-editing the files but in future you can bring up the context menu on any setting and then select the option to revert it to the default setting.
