X5 radio+hold and backlight
« on: November 10, 2006, 10:51:57 PM »
Well, during the day Im usually listening to the radio with hold on, but about half the time when i take hold off I end up also turning the radio off :-\ maybe if there was a different way to turn the radio off instead of the hold\power switch.

Also, about a week or two back one of the daily builds had it so when you turn hold on the backlight would turn off right away. Personally I really liked that and am wonder if that could be put back on.

I have a moderately recent daily build (this week, don't know the date) and under settings->display->LCD it has "Backlight (On Hold Key)" that you can set to "off" (like I have it set) so the backlight will go off the instant you hit hold.  Is this what you want and did they remvoe it from the more recent builds?

yup thats it ;D
If i remeber correctly it was set to off in the build, but I cant remeber if I did change it or not so Im not to sure. After that I got a newer version and didnt have set, so I didnt know what it was.

Thanks
