I do not recommend doing this for a Nano v1.2.This is because the Nano with v1.2 has the extra component of firmware (the Nike+iPod bit) that needs extracting, just like the 5G has a Broadcom firmware. The installer at this point doesn't pick up on that and will not extract the Nike firmware on the v1.2 Nano - probably leading to installation problems.The new version, with a way better GUI and feature set (also coded in NSIS), will be out next week sometime. It will address this problem and more - plus you won't have to fake a sysinfo file for it to recognise generation.
Well mine works perfectly since a few days. It's a 1.2 Nano.However, I didn't boot in Apple OS since Rockbox is installed...
Didn't work out for me. Maybe I got to give it another try though...
