So I've had my Clip+ for a good 3 years and used it for running, but now i'm pretty sure that flash storage got fried.
It threw an ATA error: -2 at one point and windows recognized it as a 30MB drive, but after it got completely discharged it seems to be able to boot into menu. Anything to do with accessing storage either freezes the player or says it can't read the file. The "disk read" icon in the top right is also constantly on.
I tried booting the sansa firmware, but it doesn't go past the logo.
Is this salvageable in any way? Apart from some sentimental value, most mp3 replacement options look pretty shitty, except trying to buy another Clip+ which is way out of my price range for ~$100 total
