If it's only 1 x 256GB that nowhere near even my minimum :/Quote from: Frankenpod on September 13, 2018, 11:28:33 AMFlash-modded ipod?(potentially up to 1.6Tb - am using a 1Tb one at the moment). But have to be prepared to deal with the glitches and complications due to the imperfect compatibility with rockbox.Oooh, didn't realise that. Bit concerned about the battery due to the age of these devices. But that's interesting.edit: wow, how long have these iFlash quad boards been out? Can't believe I missed them! Can you expand on the glitches? Any way to use 1TB with other firmware?
Thanks for the advice. I can't seem to find any reliable looking batteries on ebay. Can you recommend a source? And so, to recap, I just buy a 5.5g enhanced from ebay, an expanded capacity battery, an iFlash quad and 4x micro SD cards and then install Rockbox and I'm good to go?Any other recommendations?

The connectors can be fragile. At least with a 5.5gen you shouldn't have too much trouble openning the housing. You might want a 'thick' back plate as well, depending on what battery you can get hold of.
