cant use installation utility (my computer died R.I.P.) so i'm stuck doing this @ the library.
You can. Rockbox Utility runs without installation.
Every time I goto http://download.rockbox.org/release/3.12/rockbox-sansaclipzip-3.12.zip the browser says that ANOYING 404 error.
Rockbox hasn't been released for the Clip Zip. Wait for 3.13 (which will include the Clip Zip) or use a development build.
And every time I use a daily build, most of the menus look like gibberish... like: main menu>Glyphs to cache instead of main menu>shortcuts. Plus everytime I try to play music, Sansa (what I named my ClipZip) says "Error updating playlist control" or something like that.
This sounds like you either have filesystem errors or mixed two installations. Check the filesystem of the player and reinstall Rockbox.
So, I would really appreciate a link to the Rockbox 3.12 ClipZip package (.zip) I would also appreciate the voice file (english-us/english).
Impossible. There is no Rockbox 3.12 for the Clip Zip.
If not, then a link to the latest released version that isn't like gibberish.
This isn't a problem with Rockbox, it's a problem with your installation.
Also, most of the themes I downloaded for Sansa don't work.
It's impossible to say anything about this without knowing further details. Themes are contributed (except the default theme cabbiev2) and as such not maintained by the Rockbox team. If a theme is broken it's up to the author (or anyone else interested) to fix it.
Also, How do I use thos patches thing (Flyspray). They look like nice additions. Remember that my computer died (the memory of him makes me happy, but the thought of him makes me sad of his death -Sir EVNV).
Check the "Development" pages in the wiki. But without access to a proper computer where you can install a development environment there's no way to do anything about this.
