##PORT# on Sansa Fuze V2

If i activate : View all Files, in the root of the player a folder named ##PORT# Appaear ..
What is this folder?

I believe it's used by the SanDisk firmware when in MTP mode.  I have a bunch of similar directories on my Clip.  They are not related to Rockbox in any way.

i know that the sansa fuze v2 rockbox port cannot write ...

I found that this folder (and ##MUSIC#) is deleted by the OF when plugging USB and recreated when unplugging, I can make all other files/folders hidden and not see them in rockbox, but not those 2 :/

Indeed, the ##*# directories are MTP crap; by connecting your device (via OF) in MTP mode you can delete them; then shut down while still physically connected but do use the "safely remove" function by holding down the Power button for ~10s. As long as you only ever shut down the OF like this--while connected over USB, by holding down Power to force a shutdown--the default directories will not be rewritten (the same goes for the MSC default directories if you want to delete those too).

Note: Ugly workaround alert.
