Copy/Paste in Keyboard mode
« on: February 18, 2010, 10:52:15 AM »
Idea: Being able to copy file/directory-names while browsing and then paste them when in Keyboard-mode.

For example browsing to the directory "Bob Dylan", copy the name and then:
-rename the tracks in the file to include the artist: "01 Mr. Tambourine Man" to "01 Bob Dylan - Mr. Tambourine Man"
-create a new playlist naming it "Bob Dylan folky songs"

These are the first two uses I can think of at the moment, though I'm sure there are more.

The function could be implemented like this:
Function "Copy name" in the Context Menu
Function "Paste" in the keyboard, line edit mode, toggled by the Next-button.

In addition, it might be nice to automatically copy the directory name into the keyboard when creating a new playlist from a directory, possibly as a Playlist Setting.

I don't have the knowledge to judge if this is possible to implement without affecting the Copy/Paste Function concerning files or directorys.
