Configuring Quick Screen

Is the ability to choose items in the quick screen still available in the most recent builds? I remember customizing them when a recent revision allowed it, and the major changes page lists the feature, and the wiki seems to indicate that the ability exists (complete with instructions I can't follow), but I can't find the setting to customize the 3 items in the quickscreen in the menus as I once did.
Edit: Never mind - I found it. The context menu brings up the setting, but only on valid menu items. I was hoping to choose an item that it seems can not be assigned to one of the three quickscreen shortcuts.

I've also run into the same problem... previously I had used the quickmenu for a fast way to flip the screen, something for which I can no longer use it. I've actually had trouble finding ANY valid menu items, what are some of these "valid" menus?

I have crossfeed set up on my quick screen in place of repeat since I use this more often.

I tried to set crossfeed on my quick menu with no success... long select only works for me on files... any ideas? Is it possible that some other key option is interfering with the long select?

Are you sure you're using a new enough official build?

Also, make sure you're selecting the crossfeed on/off setting, not the Crossfeed menu.

still no luck, it actually just pushes me to selecting NO on the screen. and that's it... I've now officially tried it on EVERY available menu..... NOT FUN! It must be something with my install I gues.... maybe I'll try reinstalling.

settings -> sound settings -> crossfeed then in that menu hold select over the first item (crossfeed) and you will get the options

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
