WPS stuck in default font/features?

I just reinstalled, and now ever theme I add has the same font and style, features as default - only the wall paper changes.

Two are working (handwritten and sudan) but not the rest - why?

I already found that post, but I honestly don't know what it means.

Are the old WPS ng with the current build? Can I simply get an old build of Rockbox?

The changes were committed during June, so you'll have to build your own.  Please type words out completely so people don't have to guess what you mean by "ng".  (I'm guessing no-go or no-good.)

Many of the themes just need a minor code change as explicitly described in that thread.  Pondlife's quote of jswetzen (who, incidentally, is the author of both of those themes) provides the old syntax and the new syntax side-by-side.
