http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpproduct_selector.pl?scy=US&slg=AEN&searchtxt=SA19Do you people think it would be possible to get rockbox on the SA1929/37? I might crack it open and get scans later tonight. I updated it fairly soon as i got it; the update came with 3 files, firmware.rsc, firmware.sb and updater.sb, if that makes sense to anybody.
I know the firmware is flashable, and it's fairly simple to open.
The main purpose I'd want rockbox for is to play ogg; of course that'll depend if it uses a dedicated decoding chip of not.
Also, if I do end up trying to get a port for these, would it be worth it to pick up a second? they were only $15 CAN on sale today, normally not that much more.
I know C and enough assembly(HC12) to be able to learn a new assembly language.
Tell me what you think!
