Didn't mount device, just dragged and dropped the file in
i "Ejected" the mp3 too once i was done, when it said unmount. I had a feeling that was the same thing dunno if it was though.

I'd still recommend using mount and unmount instead of a graphical method, if only because I don't really trust gnome-volume-manager or pmount or whatever automounter is being used these days.
ok, I like how the Dev's modified the instalation page, so that it is now CLEARLY stated that you need to patch the bootloader first. That will be helpful to non linus users.
The battery got really hot.
Mabe is there could be some kind of emulator to similate being on linux mabe it would work ... Also do you have to go through this every time you need to update rockbox?
