good point. maybe I need to come up with symbols that leave less room for interpretation?
My suggestion would be to make the "on AC power" icon not actually be a battery at all. Just a plug on its own, or with a non-battery shaped surrounding.
what symbol should we keep for "charging"? the battery with the bolt of lightning or the battery with the plug symbol?
Llorean's suggestion of a just plug symbol without a battery makes much more sense imho.
I think "Plug alone, no battery" for fully charged, and "Battery + Lightning" for charging means the least ambiguity, personally. If you have "Plug alone" and "Plug + battery" it's still slightly confusing. "Does the plug mean charging, and when it shows a full battery with it, it's done?" kinda thing.
